Privacy Policy

Astronext AI(“Astronext”, “we”, “us”) operates the Astronext AI platform — computed Vedic astrology with AI-written interpretation — available through our website and app. This policy applies to everything you do on the platform. We handle personal data in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

• Account details — your phone number (used to sign in via one-time password), your name, and optionally an email address, gender, and preferred language.
• Birth details — date, time, and place of birth for you and for any additional profiles (family or friends) you choose to add. These exist for exactly one purpose: computing the astrological charts you ask for.
• Your activity on the platform — the reports you generate, your chat questions and the answers you receive, your horoscope readings, and ratings you leave. Kundli matches you save from the free matching tool are stored on your own device, not on our servers.
• Payment records — what you bought, when, for how much, and its status. Your card, UPI, and banking credentials go directly to Razorpay, our payment gateway; we never see or store them.
• Technical data — device push-notification tokens (only if you opt in), and standard service logs (such as request IP addresses) used for security, rate-limiting, and debugging.

We do not collect your contacts, your location beyond the birth places you type in, or anything from other apps.

• To compute your charts and generate the readings, reports, horoscopes, and chat answers you request — this is the core of the service.
• To process payments, maintain your credit balances, and keep an auditable purchase history you can review anytime.
• To send one-time passwords for sign-in and, only if you opt in, daily horoscope push notifications.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and fix failures (including restoring credits when a generation fails).
• To respond when you contact us for support.

What we never do:we never sell your data, never share it with other users, never use it for third-party advertising, and never contact you with marketing you didn't ask for.

To write a reading, the structured chart data for that reading (planet positions, houses, Dasha periods, and similar astrological values) is processed by our AI language-model provider under their API data-use terms — this is the minimum required for the interpretation to exist. In chat, your questions accompany that chart data; for the two-person Compatibility report, the first names you entered for the couple are included so the reading can address them. We do not send your phone number, email, or payment details, and the AI provider has no access to your account. The astrological calculations themselves are performed entirely on our own systems.

A small set of service providers process data on our behalf, each limited to its role: Razorpayfor payments (PCI-DSS compliant), an SMS delivery provider for one-time passwords, cloud hosting and database providers that store the service's data, the AI language-model provider described above, and an error-monitoring service configured to exclude personal information. They are bound to use the data only to provide their service to us.

• Data is encrypted in transit, and access to production systems is restricted.
• Your data is kept for as long as your account exists, so your charts, reports, and history keep working.
• Payment records are retained for as long as Indian financial and tax regulations require, even after account deletion.
• Reports you download are your copies; what happens to a downloaded file is in your hands.

• Access and correct your identity details (name, email, language, gender) anytime from your Account page. Birth details are deliberately read-only after setup — changing them would invalidate your chart and every reading built on it; contact support if a genuine correction is needed.
• Remove additional profiles you've added, chat sessions, and saved matches from your account yourself, anytime — removed items disappear from your account immediately, and any residual server-side records are erased when your account is deleted.
• Opt out of push notifications anytime from Account → Notifications, or by revoking permission in your browser or device.
• Delete your account and data — contact us from your registered number or email and we will remove your account, birth details, charts, reports, and chats. Payment records are retained only as long as the law requires. Self-serve deletion from the Account page is on our roadmap.

Astronext accounts are for adults (18+). Birth details for children may only be added as additional profiles by a parent or guardian, for generating readings within that adult's account.

We keep your signed-in session and preferences in your browser's local storage, and the free matching tool stores your saved matches on your device. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before they take effect. We will never quietly weaken the promises made here.
